In May of 1972 my dad E.E. (Doc) Holliday started Winchester Tire & Alignment at 1842 Winchester Road in Memphis, TN. With the help of Bill Ballard as the lead mechanic the business grew rapidly and more room was needed. In 1978 Doc purchased the land next door and built our current building located at 1830 Winchester Road. My brothers and I grew up in the business and all worked in the business for many years. My name is Todd Holliday; I started hanging out at the shop in 1972 when I was in the second grade. As I grew up in the business Bill and other mechanics would teach me different things about vehicles as I would always want to help and get dirty. I hold several ASE Certifications as well as attending hundreds of hours of automotive training as well as completing ATI- Automotive Training Institutes Service writer and Business manager/owner classes. In 2007 I purchased the business as my dad and brother and have since ran the day to day operations with the help of a GREAT Staff.
Winchester Tire and Alignment is a Member of Napa Car Care Center, AC Delco Professional Service Center, Certified Auto Repair and Auto Plus Service Center.
I am a past president of the Tennessee Tire Dealers association as well as the current and longtime treasurer and member of the executive board. I am also on the AC Delco Professional Service Center National Board. As well I donate over five hundred hours per year to local law enforcement agencies to help officers in Mississippi and Tennessee, and the public.
